This tour takes place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s geographical specialty is the green, hilly landscapes. Further attractions include the cosmopolitan capital Sarajevo with its Turkish tradition and the restored Old Bridge crossing the Neretva in Mostar, which unites the difficult part of the country with its positive outlook into the future.

Bosnia-Herzegovina is best known for its good wines and diverse Mediterranean cuisine, which not only feature Bosnian but also Serbian and Croatian specialties. Generally, the Bosnian-Herzegovinan cuisine is rather simple and meat-based, however, due to its border to the Mediterranean Sea, fish is also frequently available and very tasty due to its freshness.

While it is possible to drink tap water in Bosnia-Herzegovina, it is generally recommended to drink bottled water.
