Day 1: Arrival

Arrival to Marrakesh. Transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through a short briefing session as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.

Day 2: Marrakesh - Bin El Ouidane (approximately 190 kilometers / 118 miles)

You will receive your BMW bikes early in the morning before starting your journey towards Bin El Ouidane. You will head towards the High Atlas on normal roads to warm up, so you can get used to your bike as well as local driving habits before tackling the winding mountain roads that will provide an excellent insight to the great riding Morocco has to offer.

You will visit the scenic waterfalls of Ouzoud, where you will have some time to do a short walk around. Your stop for the night will be in a nice hotel on the border of the lake where you can relax by the pool or discuss the first day at the bar.

Day 3: Bin El Ouidane - Fes (approximately 380 kilometers / 236 miles)

You will leave the hotel in the morning and start your climb into the mountains with magnificent views of the lake beneath and the pine forests. You will tackle plenty of twists and turns before commencing a slow descent towards Khenifra, which will be your lunch stop for the day.

From Khenifra, you will turn east and climb through the Azigza National Park, which offers a great setting. Your stop for the night will be in a fine hotel in the center of the city where you will have the opportunity for a tour in the old medina and get a taste of Moroccan food.

Day 4: Fes - Azrou (approximately 100 kilometers / 62 miles)

After breakfast, you will have opportunity to visit the imperial city of Fes. Around midday, you will start your ascent of the Middle Atlas and arrive to your hotel near Azrou where you will have plenty of opportunities to feed the monkeys that live in the cedar forests of the area and visit the Cedar of Africa.

Day 5: Azrou - Errachidia (approximately 260 kilometers / 162 miles)

You will start the day with riding through the forests where you will have the opportunity to admire the quiet setting and maybe feed the Barbary Apes that live in the area. You will then tackle the climbing roads of the Middle Atlas passing the high plateau of the mountain range.

You will go through the French Foreign Legion tunnel towards Errachidia, the infamous old Dakar town, before reaching your accommodation for the night. You will likely see relics of Dakar - posters and stickers on garage walls - this part of Africa really misses Dakar as it became a way of life there and a cash generator.

Day 6: Errachidia - Merzouga (approximately 130 kilometers / 81 miles)

Today, you will start your ride to the Sahara desert. Your stop for the day will be a fine hotel in Merzouga where you will stop for a short break and leave the bikes to climb aboard the 4×4 of your guide who will take you to your camp in the dunes of the Sahara.

You will admire the sunset from the dunes before dinner and then you will be able to admire the desert skyline at night. Note that in case of a rare sand storm, you will likely remain at the hotel which offers a more comfortable setting.

Day 7: Merzouga - Boumalne Dadès (approximately 220 kilometers / 137 miles)

Wake up call will come early today as you will climb the dunes before sunrise to admire the unique effects from atop the dunes before our early breakfast. You will then have a guided tour aboard the 4×4 to visit the dunes and the sights around the area, including the coal and crystal mines.

You will pick up your bikes at the hotel and will head to the rock of the Mummy for some off-road riding and to admire the view of the desert from the top of the rocks that offer a unique sight known to only a few. Or route will take you through deserted landscapes before heading to the Todra valley to ride beneath the huge cliffs that offer a unique scenery. You will spend the night at the feet of the Atlas range in a fine hotel.

Day 8: Rest day in Boumalne Dadès

Today, you will have an optional program, which is to go trekking in the Dades Valley.

Day 9: Boumalne Dadès - Ouarzazate (approximately 180 kilometers / 112 miles)

Despite the short daily distance, the riding will be exceptional. You will start your day by climbing the most photographed hairpins in Morocco in the Dades valley. A relatively short bike ride will take you to your lodging for this evening where you can enjoy a drink by the pool while taking in the wonderful sight of the lake.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Ouarzazate, the movie studios, the scenes of The Game of Thrones and wonder around the many local souvenir shops. Excellent local dishes will be served for dinner.

Day 10: Ouarzazate - Taroudant (approximately 290 kilometers / 180 miles)

Today, you will pass the lower edge of the Atlas mountain range through some stunning roads towards your destination. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit the special medina of Taroudant. Your stop for the day will be in a riyadh in the village of Taroudant, where you can take a nice walk and there would be great opportunity to buy some Argan oil and the legendary Moroccan saffron growing around this area.

Day 11: Taroudant - Agadir (approximately 120 kilometers / 75 miles)

Today’s ride will take you on one of the most amazing coastal roads of Morocco. You will ride through the Souss-Massa National Park. In the afternoon, you will arrive to your paradise, a fantastic surf and yoga retreat hotel with beautiful spa facilities and on-site surf school.

Day 12: Agadir - Essaouira (approximately 150 kilometers / 93 miles)

A nice coastal ride will take you to your next stop. Your ride will take you through smaller country roads before arriving to the laid back coastal town of Essaouira. In the afternoon, you will visit Essaouira, exceptional example of a late 18th-century fortified town, built according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a North African context and the favorite city of Bob Marley.

You will have the chance to explore the old medina, walk on the wide sandy beach, make a nice Segway ride, or enjoy the laid back souks and stellar seafood.

Day 13: Essaouira - Marrakesh (approximately 220 kilometers / 137 miles)

On the next day, you will descend to the vast planes that lay between the Atlas and the Atlantic Ocean. Upon your arrival to your hotel in Marrakech, you will hand over the bikes before heading to the city to explore the medina with its souks and the vibrant Jamaa el Fna place with its snake charmers and food stalls.
