Your accommodations throughout the tour will be hotels and riads based on double occupancy. If you prefer more privacy, you can book the tour with a single supplement at an extra cost of 350 EUR per person.

Wheels of Morocco Motorbike Tour Itinerary

The Atlas is Morocco’s most spectacular and inspiring landscape. To truly experience all it has to offer, you need an adventure motorcycle. This eight-day tour is designed for experienced riders and takes you to places few will ever get to see, for an adventure you’ll never forget. After exploring the dirt trails of cedar forests and mineral mines, you start your adventure into the Atlas along rural dirt tracks.

You then explore the winding roads of the Dades and Todra valleys before climbing to nearly 3000 meters through the jaw-dropping scenery. The exhilarating switchbacks and mountain passes lead you to the blue waters of Lake Bin el Ouidane where you can relax and reflect on the sights and thrills of the past few days. Some highlights of the trip include the Todra and Dades valleys, rural mountain dirt tracks, and Bin el Ouidane Lake.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Casablanca. Transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip in the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through a welcome briefing as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.

Day 2: Casablanca - Azrou (approximately 370 kilometers / 230 miles)

You will be transferred to the workshop and receive your BMW bikes early in the morning before starting your journey to Azrou. You will head towards Rabat on normal roads to warm up so you can get used to your bike as well as local driving habits before turning east to tackle the winding mountain roads that will provide an excellent insight to the great riding Morocco has to offer.

Your stop for the night will be in a nice hotel on the border of the cedar forest where you can relax by the pool or discuss the first day at the bar.

Day 3: Azrou - Midelt (approximately 130 kilometers / 81 miles)

Before heading up to the plateau of the Atlas and the town of Midelt, you start your day with a mild off-road through the cedar forests to discover the beauty of the area and spot the Barbary apes living there. You will then take the beautiful road to climb up the mountain range to arrive in Midelt around lunchtime. Following the lunch break, you will hop on the bikes to tackle some off-road sections and visit the mineral mines in the region.

Day 4: Midelt - Tinghir (approximately 290 kilometers / 181 miles)

You will start the day on the nice winding roads of the Atlas through long straights and sweepers until the town of Er-Rich, where you take a turn towards the higher peaks of the mountain range. You will ride on smaller roads and dirt tracks until you descend to the valley of Todra and the town of Tinghir where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Tinghir - Agoudal (approximately 170 kilometers / 106 miles)

As you will leave Tinghir and head towards Boumalne Dades on the main national road before the real fun begins. You will ride on the wonderful winding roads of the Dades Valley where there will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops. This motorcycle ride will take you through the most photographed switchbacks of Morocco.

From there, you will continue your journey through battered road sections that will turn into gravel roads. You will climb to nearly 3,000 meters through breath-taking scenery. You will spend the evening at the small settlement of Agoudal and will dine on delicious local dishes.

Day 6: Agoudal - Bin el Ouidane (approximately 220 kilometers / 137 miles)

The great motorcycle adventure continues as you ride through the small winding roads of the Atlas towards the blue waters of the Lake Bin el Ouidane. You will tackle switchbacks and turns as you ride mostly above 2,000 meters before arriving at the daily accommodation. You will have the opportunity to relax by the lake or take a short ride around the lake.

Day 7: Bin el Ouidane - Casablanca (approximately 250 kilometers / 156 miles)

Your last riding day will start with a short but exhilarating ride on the mountain passes before you descend to the vast planes that lay between the Atlas and the ocean. The ride will take you through smaller country roads before arriving back to the HQ to return the bikes.

You will then be taken back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the evening rewinding the best moments of the trip or you can decide to take the time to explore the city. This will be the last opportunity to invite your guide for a drink at the bar.

Day 8: Departure

Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the arranged pick-up takes you to the airport.

This tour starts and ends in Casablanca, Morocco. The highlights of this tour will cover the untouched beauty of the Atlas as only a few have seen, riding through the cedar forests, exploring the mines around Midelt, riding on mountain passes above 2,900 meters, and riding around the beautiful lake at Bin el Ouidane.
