Throughout your journey, you will stay at several hotels provided by Wheels of Morocco.

Day 1

Arrival to Agadir. You will be transferred to your hotel near Agadir where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool, swim in the ocean, or take surfing lessons before the start of the trip the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through the briefing session as well as the formalities required before the start. You will receive your welcome pack on this first day.

Day 2

The first leg of your journey will take you through the coastal road before turning inland to explore Paradise Valley. Your road will take you through small winding roads in the mountains to arrive at your first stop where you will leave your bikes and go for a short walk to explore the natural water ponds of Paradise Valley. Once you are back on the motorcycles you will cross Agadir and head east on small country roads to reach Taroudant, your destination for the day.

Day 3

Early in the morning, you will ride northeast towards Marrakech. This day will provide a great day of riding as you will cross the Atlas through the winding roads and switchbacks of the Tizi n’Test pass. There will be plenty of opportunities for pictures and you will want to stop from time to time just to take in the breathtaking scenery. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will head to the center to experience the rush of the Medina and Jamaa el Fna.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will get on your bikes to tackle the heights of the Atlas once again. This time you will climb the Tizi n’Tichka pass up to 2260 meters before taking a turn for your descent which will be through the less frequented road that will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou.

This road will alter wonderful switchbacks and tight corners as well as flowing off-road sections. Once again, you will be struck by the variety of the sights and will take every opportunity to take pictures. You will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and will explore the city before heading to your wonderful hotel at the lake near the city.

Day 5

You will leave your accommodation after your breakfast by the pool to head towards the desert and sand dunes of M’Hamid. Your ride will follow the many palm trees and plantations of the Draa Valley. The scenery will change as the previous days’ greenery will give place to the yellowish colors of the desert only then broken by the occasional green of the oasis.

You will spend the night in an organized campsite in the desert that will give you the opportunity to discover the vastness and the beauty of the skies that can only be seen in places without light pollution.

Day 6

The challenges will begin on this day. You will experience a day of riding the remote pistes of the souths. The roads are mostly flowing off-road track with the occasional sandy patches and rocky sections. So if you have an experience in riding off-road tracks, it will help a lot. Riders with less practice will have the opportunity to gain plenty of experience. As the distance is not excessive, this day will provide a unique feeling of the country to the participants.

Day 7

An early start will take you back towards Tafraoute through small winding roads of the Anti Atlas once again. You will ride the smaller national roads where twists and turns become more and more frequent as you approach the mountains. You will thoroughly enjoy this ride on roads where traffic is less common than around cities. Before getting to your accommodation and a well-deserved dinner, you will take the pistes to explore the blue rocks near Tafraoute.

Day 8

Your last riding day will take you back to your wonderful accommodation near the surfing spots of Morocco. The roads will provide plenty of joy for this ultimate day. Fast corners and switchbacks will be found before you arrive in Agadir and back to the hotel.

After your farewell briefing, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink at the bar or by the surf house at the beach, jump in the pool or the ocean, or just relax in the hotel where the group will have a last dinner together. This will also be the last opportunity to invite your guide for a drink at the bar.

Day 9

Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax at the hotel or decide to take surfing lessons. Those of you who opted to extend their holidays will remain to enjoy the weather and the many activities on offer. Meanwhile, those leaving will be transferred to the airport through their pre-arranged pick-up.

Testimonials

  • Review by Bence

"I participated on an Atlas adventure tour in Feb 2017. We rode through Atlas-mountains with touching the desert. There was a good mixture of nice curving roads, dirty roads and challenging off-road stages on the tour. The tourguiding and organizing were super good, thanks to Greg and Viki. The bikes had perfect condition, almost new. Summarly I highly recommend participating on a tour of Wheels of Morocco or rent a bike from them."

"We recently hired a BMW 1200gs from Greg and Viktoria of Wheels of Morocco for a 3 week self drive. The bikes were in excellent condition and Greg was a great help in checking our itinerary to see our route was feasible. Viktoria will book your hotel and organise a taxi to collect you at the airport if you need. They were both great, both super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend them in a heartbeat."

"Greg and Viki were awesome. The bikes were perfect, the hotels were ideal, the hotel food was great, and the prices were surprisingly economical. The routes were challenging and the scenery was amazing. We even got to squeeze in some trout fishing. No doubt, I will try to do this again and bring more buds with me. In short, Wheels of Morocco is very highly recommended. Best regards, Pascal."
