This tour was designed for those who wish to immerse in the Moroccan culture and culinary experience and still enjoy the beautiful roads of the Atlas. On this tour, you will visit the imperial cities of Meknes and Marrakech and the town of Ouarzazat known as the cinema capital of the country. You will ride through varied and amazing landscapes including the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass and the roads of the desert. This adventure will provide a unique and unforgettable experience about Morocco’s heritage!
Your accommodations throughout the tour will be hotels and riads based on double occupancy. If you prefer more privacy, you can book the tour with a single supplement at an extra cost of 300 EUR per person.
On this nine-day tour, you'll be immersed in two of Morocco's finest features; its rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes. Your first stop is the Imperial city of Meknes where you can get explore life in the old Medina and some of Morocco's delicious food. From here, you cross the Middle Atlas to the imposing Thodra and Dadès Gorges, riding beneath the mighty cliff faces before spending a night in the beautiful Dadès Valley. After climbing the most photographed hairpins out of the gorge and stopping for plenty of photos, you head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, where you can wander this ancient fort (and take more photos). From here, you tackle the twists and turns of the Tizi n'Tichka pass before reaching the magical city of Marrakech!
Arrive in Casablanca. You will get the transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through a short briefing session as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.
You will be transferred to Wheels of Morocco's workshop and receive your BMW bikes early in the morning before starting the journey towards Meknes. You will head towards Rabat on normal roads to warm up so you can get used to your bike as well as local driving habits before turning east to tackle the winding mountain roads that will provide an excellent insight to the great riding Morocco has to offer. Your stop for the night will be in a fine hotel in the center of the city where you will have the opportunity for a tour of the old medina and get a taste of Moroccan food.
After breakfast, you'll start your ascent of the Middle Atlas and will have your first stop at one of the mountain passes around Azrou where you will have plenty of opportunities to feed the monkeys that live in the cedar forests of the area.
Your road to Midelt will change between twisting mountain passes and long straights while you cross the high plateau of the mountain range.
You will continue your motorcycle journey on a perfect road towards Errachidia on the other side of the mountains. You will thoroughly enjoy the mountain roads that take you to the door of the desert. On your way, you will cross the tunnel built by the French Foreign Legion and there will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops.
Today, you will ride at the foot of the Atlas with the mountain range on one side and the desert on another side. You will make a detour from the town of Tinghir to the Todgha Gorge and ride through the pass beneath the huge cliffs. After some photos and an excellent lunch made from home-grown vegetables at a local restaurant, you will continue to the hotel in the Dadès Valley where you will have the opportunity to relax at the pool or in the spa and you will enjoy the sunset behind the mountain range from the terrace.
Despite the short daily distance, the riding will be exceptional. You will start your day by climbing the most photographed hairpins in Morocco in the Dadès Valley. A relatively short bike ride will take you to your lodging for this evening where you can enjoy a drink by the pool while taking in the wonderful sight of the lake. In the afternoon, you'll head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, where many epic movies were filmed. On your way back, you will have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Ouarzazate and wonder around the many local souvenir shops.
Another wonderful touring day awaits you full of twists and turns, combines with beautiful surroundings as you climb the High Atlas through the famous Tizi n'Tichka pass. There will be plenty of opportunities to take from the view. You will be arriving early afternoon to your comfortable hotel in Marrakesh before heading to the city to explore the medina with its souks and the vibrant Jamaa el Fna place with its snake charmers and food stalls.
Your last motorcycle adventure tour day will start in the afternoon, so you will still have plenty of time to relax by the pool or enjoy a spa / hammam treatment in the hotel. You will arrive back to the headquarters in the evening to return the bikes before your transfer to the hotel.
Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the arranged pick-up takes you to the airport.
