Bhutan Royal Enfield Motorcycle Tour

The motorcycles provided for this tour are Himalayan or Classic Royal Enfield, as per your choice. In case you prefer a different bike, just let Wild Triumph know, additional charges may be applicable. A substantial medical kit is carried in the support vehicle and there is space for people if they cannot ride. Road conditions vary from smooth tarmac to harsh rocky tracks. The average daily ride varies between five to eight hours with plenty of water stoppages. There will be plenty of photography and videography for you to take back home!

During this tour, you will be staying in various premium hotels in twin-share accommodations.

Program

Day 1: Bagdogra - Phuentsholing

A Wild Triumph representative will meet you at Bagdogra airport from where you’ll be driven to Phuentsholing, which is the point of entry and commonly known as the Bhutanese/Indian business center. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.

Day 2: Phuentsholing - Paro

Begin your day by completing administrative formalities before heading for Paro. En route, witness picturesque landscapes, villages, and monasteries. Once in Paro, you will visit Dzongs! Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.

Day 3: Paro

Greet the day by trekking to Tiger’s Nest, a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site. The approximate time taken for this trek is about two hours for one way.

Day 4: Paro - Thimphu

Head towards the beautiful Thimpu Valley post breakfast. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Thimphu - Pobjikha via Punakha

In the morning, visit the Giant Buddha Dordenma before you ride towards Phobjikha Valley. On the way to Pobjikha, cross the Dochu La Pass at 3140 meters). Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 6: Pobjikha - Bumthang via Trongsa

Today you will leave for Bumthang Valley and en route, you will visit Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 7: Bumthang - Mongar

Today, you will be crossing two high mountain passes, the Sertangla Pass at 3950 meters and Trumshingla Pass at 3750 meters. In between, there is a magnificent national park that is enriched with flora and fauna. The road leading to Mongar is descending with amazing waterfalls and scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 8: Mongar - Trashigang

Visit Trashigang Dzong today before you head towards the Rangjung monastery. Later during the day, ride back to Trashigang for some free time and a stroll around. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 9: Trashigang - Samdrup Jongkhar

Ride towards Samdrup Jongkhar today. En route, you will witness beautiful weaves and colors at the Khaling Handloom center. The evening is left for you to explore or to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Samdrup Jongkhar - Guwahati, India

Today is the final day of the Bhutan journey. Bid your trusty Royal Enfield adieu and you will be transported across the border by the private vehicle to Guwahati Airport. Until next time, Wild Triumphwe wishes you all the very best for your future expeditions.
