The variety of this unique itinerary will take you into a timeless Rajasthan and the grandeur Taj Mahal enhanced by highly colorful encounters. This cultural and adventurous motorcycle ride allows you to experience the true essence of Rajasthan and Taj Mahal in 12 days.

The accommodation on this trip is deliberately varied to give you a wide experience of the region. Sometimes it will in top end four or five-star hotels with all the facilities and sometimes at deluxe campsites miles away from anywhere.

Program

Day 1: Arrive in New Delhi, India

A tour representative will meet you at the airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi). You will be transferred by a private bus / taxi to your hotels in the vicinity.

Day 2: New Delhi - Shekhawati, Mandawa

Post breakfast, you will leave for a heritage hotel situated in Mandawa. The Wild Triumph team will provide you with the choice of your bikes followed by a short ride to get accustomed to the road, traffic, and bikes. You will visit local villages and Havelis in the evening to relish the colorful streets. Dinner and stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Shekhawati, Mandawa - Bikaner

Today, post breakfast, you ride deep into the Thar Desert towards Bikaner. You will visit Junagarh fort; known for its architectural brilliance. The culture and liveliness of the locals will definitely fascinate you. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel.

Day 4: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

You will head towards princely state named Jaisalmer, also known as "golden city." The entire city is distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture and most popularly known for its Jaisalmer Fort. A mouth-watering dinner will await you at the Grand Palace Hotel.

Day 5: Jaisalmer

The day is left for you to explore all the local markets and artifact stores. You will visit the sand dunes and take a ride on the camels after watching a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a comfortable permanent campsite in the middle of the desert.

Day 6: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Today you move towards the blue city of Rajasthan; famous for its rich culture, food, and the charm of the locals. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel.

Day 7: Jodhpur - Udaipur

You will leave for Udaipur post breakfast. Udaipur (founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559) was formerly the capital of the Mewar kingdom and is known for its artificial lakes and lavish royal residences. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 8: Udaipur - Pushkar

You will move towards your next destination post breakfast; Pushkar. It is a small, but important pilgrimage site for Hindus and is among the oldest existing cities of India. This place is known for celebrating “Holi” very lively and a must stop for every rider.

Day 9: Pushkar to Jaipur

You ride towards the capital of Rajasthan, also called the "pink city." At the center of its stately street grid stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. This place is known for Maharaja Palace and Royal culture. You will visit Amber Fort; Jewel of Jaipur. After this, you will have a mouth-watering dinner at the Palace Hotel.

Day 10: Jaipur

Relax! The Wild Triumph team will leave this day for you to explore local places.

Day 11: Jaipur - Agra

Post breakfast, you hop on to enjoy the last ride of the tour. You’ll have lunch in a local restaurant and continue on to Agra. By afternoon, you’ll visit the legendary Taj Mahal, Indo-Mughal architectural marvel and 7th wonder of the world. Wild Triumph recommends that you visit the white lotus monument to enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 12: Agra - New Delhi

You will now leave behind your rides and return to Delhi in a private vehicle. You will be dropped to your hotel post-lunch, and you are free to explore the capital. Recommended places: Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Trip ends here. Wild Triumph team hopes that you enjoyed the motorcycle journey with them in the country of Maharajas.

Trip information

  • Motorcycles provided for this tour are Himalayan / Classic as per your choice. In case you prefer a different bike, just let the Wild Triumph team know (charges applicable)
  • A substantial medical kit is carried in the support vehicle and there is space for people if they cannot ride
  • Road conditions vary from smooth tarmac to semi-smooth
  • Average daily ride varies between 5-8 hours with plenty of water stoppages
  • There will be plenty of photography and videography for you to take back home
  • To be legally driving in India you are required to carry your local driving license, which must cover the size of the bike you will be driving. You will also need an International Driving Permit. An International Driving Permit is basically an official, multi-language translation of your driving license. They are cheap, quick and easy to obtain in your home country.

Enjoy an unparalleled adventurous and cultural tour in the land of Maharajas on your Royal Enfield Classic 500cc motorbikes. Starting from New Delhi, you will then head for Shekhawati, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra, then back to New Delhi.
