The accommodation on this trip is deliberately varied to give you a wide experience in the region. Sometimes it will be in top-end four or five-star hotels with all the facilities and sometimes at deluxe campsites miles away from anywhere.

Program

Day 1: New Delhi

You’ll be met at the airport in New Delhi and will be shifted to your ideally located hotel, it is the perfect base from which to explore this chaotic and stunning city. In the evening, you will board the private coach and head for the hills! The journey to Manali is a comfortable 12-hour trip on good roads, sit back and enjoy the views as you begin the climb into the Himalayas.

Day 2: Manali

Jullay! Check into your hotels upon arrival in Manali. You are recommended to take a rest before anything else to get accustomed to the weather. After a short briefing, you will be provided with a motorcycle. Later in the evening, you will be introduced to your group and the tour leader will brief you about the precautionary measures, riding tips, bike check-ups, and safety. The overnight stay will be at the hotel. Take a good night's sleep to ensure you are ready for your treacherous journey.

Day 3: Manali - Tirthan Valley

Have an early breakfast and commence your journey to Ladakh and Spiti Valley! Ride into the Great Himalayan National Park and reach Tirthan Valley in the afternoon. The rest of the day is left for you to explore the nearby areas. You can go for a hike in the valley!

Day 4: Tirthan Valley - Sangla Valley

Breakfast will be served early in the morning. The ride will be long and wonderful today, you will also cross the steep Jalori Pass located at a height of 10,800 feet, which connects Kinnaur district in HP to Kullu. You will ride along Sutlej River up until Baspa and then ascend towards the majestic and world-famous Sangla Valley. Upon arrival, you will be made comfortable at the arranged accommodation.

Day 5: Sangla - Chitkul - Tabo

After an early breakfast, explore Chitkul in the morning. It will be a short trip (20 kilometers) and you will return to Sangla to prepare for the journey towards Tabo. By 9 a.m., start your journey towards Tabo, it is a small town capital located on the banks of Spiti River. This route comprises mesmerizing views of the landscape which will leave you spellbound and astonished.

You will also visit Giu village situated between Sumdo and Tabo, known for the 600-year old preserved mummy. Upon arrival in Tabo, settle down and the evening is left free for you to explore the local places. Overnight stay will be arranged in the hotel.

Day 6: Tabo - Kaza

After breakfast, you are recommended to pay a visit to the world heritage site, Tabo Monastery, which is said to be 1000 years old and considered to be one of the holiest places in Buddhism. This monastery is house to very rare paintings and statues and is declared the house of the 14th Dalai Lama post his retirement.

Later, begin your ride towards Kaza. On your way, visit Dhankar Monastery, situated on a clifftop. You shall reach Kaza in the early evening and the rest of the day is left for you to explore or rest.

Day 7: Kaza - Komic - Hikkim - Langza

After breakfast, begin your ride towards Kibbar village. After that, visit Ki Gompa and Hikkim Village; you can send a postcard to your family and friends from the world’s highest post office in Hikkim. Visit Langza and other nearby places. Riders are free to explore any other nearby areas as this route is famous for its scenery and waterfalls. Later in the evening, dinner will be served and you will bring an end to the day.

Day 8: Kaza - Chandratal - Jispa

Today is the day your life will change completely, as it is rightfully said, the journey to heaven starts from here. Pack your bags and ride on to the journey called life. Breakfast will be en route as the journey will start at 6 a.m. Located at a height of 14100 feet, Chandrataal is shaped like a crescent or moon with a panoramic view covering the white mountains and the blue sky.

Riders will park motorbikes two kilometers from the lake and the remaining journey will be carried on foot. You will take a brief halt for refreshments after the trek to discuss your life-changing experience. Later, head towards Jispa and reach late evening.

Day 9: Jispa - Sarchu

Breakfast will be served at the campsite/hotel. The ride will be short and wonderful today, you would be visiting Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal en route to Sarchu. You will also cross the extreme Baralacha la Pass located at a height of 16616 feet which connects Lahaul district in HP to Ladakh in J&K. Upon arrival, you will be made comfortable at the campsite. Dinner will be served near campsites.

Day 10: Sarchu - Leh

Early breakfast will be scheduled followed by a thorough bike check-up. You will then start your journey towards Leh, it is the capital of Ladakh district and was the chief residence of the 14th Dalai Lama until 1959.

Situated at an altitude of 11,562 feet, Leh is known for its natural beauty and generosity of the locals. This route comprises mesmerizing views of the landscape which will leave you spellbound in the cold desert. Upon arrival, settle down and the evening is left free for you to explore the local market. Overnight stay will be arranged in the hotel.

Day 11: Leh

Rest day! You are free to visit nearby areas like Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. In the evening, you can shop at Leh Bazaar.

Day 12: Leh - Hunder - Turtuk

Have breakfast along with the morning briefing then ride towards Hunder early. You will ride past the Khardung La Pass at 17582 feet. This pass is strategically important to India as it is used to carry supplies to Siachen Base. You would witness the change of landscape as you keep proceeding ahead on this route.

You can take your refreshments/lunches in Hunder before you leave for Turtuk and Thang which is optional and depends on group opinion. Later in the afternoon, you will arrive at Turtuk. You can explore the last outpost of Turtuk at Thang, after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit begins. You will then leave for Hunder and reach your hotels in the late evening.

Day 13: Hunder - Pangong Lake

After breakfast, begin your ride towards Pangong Tso, taking the unexplored Shyok route. This route is famous for its scenery and waterfalls. You will be left awestruck at the first view of the lake. Later in the evening, dinner will be served and you will bring an end to the day. Enjoy camping!

Day 14: Pangong Lake - Leh

An early breakfast will be scheduled followed by a thorough bike check-up. You will then start your journey towards Leh via Chang La (17,590 feet). Arrive in Leh after a short and beautiful six-hour journey. The evening is left free for you to explore or rest.

Day 15: Fly to New Delhi

Bring an end to a beautiful trip, leaving you with memories enriched with happiness which will contain within till eternity. Hotel services will be available till 11 a.m. and include breakfast. You will be transferred to Leh airport ( Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) which will take you back to New Delhi.
